Nigella
Nigella it's a bespoke living room Geometric and precise, like the star-shaped flower that gives it its name. A long suspended composition spans the dove-gray natural fiber wall: glossy white lacquer, clean-cut profiles, and horizontal lines that stretch until they almost disappear. On the opposite side, a floor-to-ceiling mirror reflects and multiplies the room—a silent gesture that expands, lightens, and creates a new perspective.
A suspended composition that crosses the wall
The wall unit is the heart of this bespoke living room: suspended horizontal modules, aligned to the millimetre, which chase each other along the entire length of the room.
The height above the floor lightens the space, the oak parquet continues uninterrupted beneath, and the room breathes. The glossy white lacquer—hand-painted in our cabin in Bari and smoothed by hand—captures the light and enhances the depth of the natural fiber wall, a textural complement to the clean lines of the doors.
The mirror as a second horizon
On the opposite side, a full-height structure frames two large mirrored panels with a dark edge: a door that is also a visual threshold, capable of multiplying the space and giving the living room a double perspective.
The dialogue between the two compositions—the suspended wall that extends horizontally and the mirror that rises vertically—creates the balance of the entire space. It is in this balance that the tailor-made living reveals its nature: not a piece of furniture added to a room, but a design that redefines the entire room.
Precision, polishing, dialogue with the home
Each door is milled with thin perimeter shutters, fitted with invisible tolerances, and polished to achieve the depth of reflection that only hand painting can achieve. The units are built to integrate with the existing cornice, paneled walls, and baseboards: nothing is imposed, everything is tailored to the home's architecture.
Nigella It is the demonstration of what a really means bespoke living room signed by Coletta Ebanisteria: the clean lines of essential geometry, the depth of artisanal lacquering, and a patient dialogue with every detail of the room, since 1971.
