A suspended line, as long as the wall

Giacinto's true design gesture is the Canaletto walnut TV cabinet which crosses the wall from corner to corner, perfectly suspended from the floor.
The doors, devoid of visible handles, create a seamless surface where the wood grain flows seamlessly: a single horizontal volume that reconfigures the room's proportions, visually lightening it. The double LED strip—one on the ceiling, one on the baseboard—floats the entire composition in a warm glow that reflects on the gray spatula-finished wall, chosen as a neutral backdrop to highlight the wood texture.

Green as a scenographic gesture

On the side wall, a emerald green textured covering with its square texture it introduces the chromatic accent that characterizes the entire project.
Not a color, but a scenographic backdrop: a living, tactile surface that changes with the light and interacts with the warm tones of Canaletto walnut. It's the choice that transforms a conventional living room into a space with personality, a focal point around which all the other elements of the composition revolve.

The details that are hidden

Beneath the apparent continuity of the surface, Giacinto integrates a series of retractable storage compartments: flap doors with push opening and gas pistons, fully extractable drawers, open compartments for placing books and personal items.
Nothing is visible until it's needed. The opening of a drop-down door is the surprising moment of the project: a wooden volume detaches itself from the composition and rests horizontally, revealing a capacity that the clean look of the piece of furniture didn't suggest.
