The wall as sculpture

The real protagonist of Margherita is the full-height fitted wall, worked with a continuous vertical line that runs through the entire room.
A precise design choice: not a piece of furniture, but an architectural volume. The vertical pattern interacts with the light from the recessed spotlights, creating an interplay of solids and voids that changes throughout the day, creating a different atmosphere at every hour.

The disappearing function

The wall features integrated storage compartments, a swing door leading to the sleeping area, and additional technical access points. Everything is perfectly coplanar, all invisible behind closed doors.
The opening of the door is the magical moment of the project: a portion of the wall detaches from the composition and rotates, revealing the passage to another room, before closing again and becoming invisible again.
A solution that transforms the bespoke living room in a silent mechanism, where every gesture is designed not to disturb the overall design.

The arch, the light, the detail

The brick arch next to the wall introduces a classic architectural element that dialogues with the contemporary language of the striped cladding: a contrast of shapes that embellishes the entrance and leads the gaze towards the rest of the house.
The ceiling spotlights have been positioned to shave the surface, enhancing its three-dimensionality with lighting studied millimetre by millimetre.
Margherita It is the demonstration of what a really means bespoke living room signed Coletta Ebanisteria: not a piece of furniture placed against a wall, but **the wall itself that becomes furniture**, in a unitary design in which form, function and light speak the same language.
